ANTIQUE SILVER FANCY LINK ALBERT CHAIN

A fantastic antique silver trombone and lovers knot Albert chain with t-bar.

The trombone links are a fancy style with a coiled silver insert in every link! These alternate with large lovers knot links.

The chain closes with two silver dog clip which fasten at the back of the chain.

The chain has a short extender next to the tbar, which can be used to add charms.

The lion passant is present on nearly every link (some are worn but visible) which guarantees that the silver is at least 92.5% pure, which is the sterling standard.

The tbar is hallmarked with the date letter for 1908, and makers mark H.P, which was a prominent chain maker in Birmingham Henry Pope.

Both the dog clips are likely historical replacements, one has a clear date mark for 1887, the other is illegible.

A great length and weight to wear everyday.
