Shipping policy
Free, worldwide insured shipping is included with every order from The Old Cut.
Your items will be packed securely and placed inside a non-branded envelope or box, so the package is discreet.
Items will be sent within 3 working days after payment.
Delivery will take between approximately 1 and 10 working days depending on the destination. Please contact me at hello@theoldcut.co.uk for a quote for a particular destination.
Tracking is available on all packages; details will be sent to you once your items have been posted.
All services require a signature on arrival.
Requests for delayed shipments or FedEx holds can be arranged by emailing The Old Cut.
By choosing delayed / hold shipping, the returns policy is nullified. Please read full returns policy for details.
Please note, the antique jewellery boxes are for display purpose only, and NOT part of the sale, unless stated otherwise.
UK Orders
Royal mail Special delivery service is used with next day delivery guaranteed.
International Orders
Fast track couriers of The Old Cuts choice are used for all shipping.
We namely use FEDEX, DHL and PARCELFORCE depending on the destination
*Please note that international orders being shipped outside of the UK can be subject to customs/import duties and tax charges once they reach their destination country. This cost is not covered by The Old Cut, and so you will be responsible for paying any additional charges that may occur.
** Unfortunately, we currently cannot ship to Russia
*** Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box.
USA Shipments
US customs charge a tariff on all parcels coming from the UK.
The charge is 10% of the declared value of the package.
A bill will be sent from Fedex that will need to be settled by the customer.
Please note, this bill may arrive after the item has been delivered, this is still the customers responsibility to pay.
The tariffs are new, so the situation will be monitored closely. Any changes to how we handle these charges will be updated here.
Lost items
If your item doesn’t arrive, please contact us at hello@theoldcut.co.uk
You will not need to worry as the items are fully insured by The Old Cut’s private insurance. However, please allow time for the investigation to be carried out prior to any refund.
