A exceptional early 19th century carved Coral hand pendant.
The hand, which is beautifully carved with superb detail down to the fingertips, is clasping seven coral amulets, including a chubby mouse, a fish, a puffy heart and a mini Figa hand wearing a turquoise set bracelet!
The main hand is surmounted with a beautiful chased gold cuff.
What makes this pendant even more epic, is the gold snake bracelet coiled around the wrist.
All the gold fitting are made of high carat gold.
These hands were worn as good luck charms in the 19th century (c.1820/30) and the amulets were said to ward off the evil eye.
Looks stunning on a chain on its own or part of a neck mess
