A super cool early 19th century conch hand pendant, clasping three coral amulets.
The large conch hand is really nicely modelled, with good detailing. The light pink hue of the conch is visible over the back of the hand, with whiter tones at the knuckles and palm side.
The amulets are made of bright orange branches of coral with metal finials.
These hand pendants were worn as good luck charms in the 19th century and the amulets were said to ward off the evil eye.
Looks stunning on a chain on its own or part of a neck mess
