A super cute pair of 19th century French jet horseshoe earrings.

Circa 1880; The earrings are made of multiple faceted circular pieces of French jet to create the horseshoe shape.

The black earrings look great when worn, sparkling subtlety when the light hits.

The earrings are set with original silver wires

These are the perfect little good luck charms.

‘French jet’ is a black glass that was developed to mimic Whitby jet.

It was often used for mourning jewellery throughout the 19th century
