A very cool 19th century ‘gold rush’ nugget bracelet.
The bracelet has six completely unique gold nugget specimens, including a nugget that covers the clasp making it invisible when worn.
The nuggets are joined by a fancy link 18ct gold chain.
These natural gold nuggets are likely to have been found during one of the famous ‘gold rushes’ that took place during the mid 19th century in; Australia, California, and then Klondike, Alaska.
During the gold fever thousands of people travelled to these sites to sift through silt along the river edges panning for gold!!
Each nugget is thought to be approximately 70-90% pure gold, naturally mixed with other metals such as silver, copper and palladium.
I’m a huge fan of nugget jewellery! And this is the first bracelet I have found, it has been squirrelled away for a while as I just adore it!
