A super cool 19th century ‘gold rush’ nugget pendant.
This totally unique shaped specimen of natural gold is likely to have been found during one of the famous ‘gold rushes’ that took place during the mid 19th century in; Australia, California, and then Klondike, Alaska.
During the gold fever thousands of people travelled to these sites to sift through silt along the river edges panning for gold!!
Each nugget is thought to be approximately 70-90% pure gold, naturally mixed with other metals such as silver, copper and palladium.
The pendant is a great size, and hangs from a large gold bail, making it easy to add to any chain.
I’m a huge fan of nugget jewellery!
Looks epic worn alone or with a bunch of charms.
