A striking pair of early Victorian green paste double drop earrings.
Circa 1830/40; the earrings have a large green cushion cut paste drop surmounted by a faceted round green paste stone.
The stones are set in a rich gilt metal claw setting, which compliments the colour of the paste perfectly.
The setting of the large paste drops is open back, allowing plenty of light into the stones.
The earrings light up a fantastic vivid emerald green when the light hits the facets.
The earrings have been set with 9ct gold shepherds hook wires.
