A gorgeous early 19th century pinchbeck bracelet.
The bracelet is made of really pretty elongated links with a cut out design, connected by intertwined links that have a combination of smooth belcher links, and knot links that have a chased pattern.
The bracelet closes with a supercool pinchbeck scrolled heart padlock, which is chased with a floral pattern on both sides.
The colour of the pinchbeck is a fantastic bright gold, which looks beautiful when worn.
Pinchbeck is a brass alloy. That looks very similar to gold, and doesn’t tarnish like other metal alloys.
It was invented in the early 18th century by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London clock- and watch-maker.
It is collectible in its own right!
