19TH CENTURY SAINT ESPRIT DOVE PENDANT

A superb French Saint Esprit Dove pendant.

The dove is made of foiled citrine stones, giving the natural yellow stones flashes of pinky / red when the light hits.

The faceted stones are set in a closed back 18ct gold setting, with an 18ct gold bail.

Representing the Holy Spirit, this popular peace symbol in the form of a dove was known as a Saint Esprit.

It was popular in the late 18th Century/early 19th Century originating in France.
