A supersized French ‘square and compass’ Masonic pendant from the last half of 19th century.
The large scale pendant is crafted in silver, and set with gorgeous cushion cut paste stones, with a large old cut paste at the top.
The setting is opening back, allowing the maximum amount of light into the stones. They sparkle beautifully.
The pendant hangs from a large flat silver jump ring , so will fit onto most chains. It looks epic attached to a swivel dog clip which allows the pendant to sit flat when worn.
Hallmarked on the bottom tip with a French boars head for silver.
The Masonic Square and Compasses symbolize morality and self-control.
