An absolutely charming early 19th century Swiss enamel and 18ct gold chan.
The chain is the daintiest size I have ever found in this style.
It features alternating rectangular and square hollow repoussé links with gold scrolled edges.
The enamel is double sided; black with white and gold patterns.
The enamel is in good condition for the age of the chain , with minimal wear.
The chain does not have a clasp, it slips easily over the head. So you don’t need to worry about any clasp slipping to the front when worn.
This is an absolute beauty and so charming to find in such a petite scale.
It makes it very easy to wear alone, or layer with multiple chains for a different look.
