A PAIR OF 18CT GOLD CHUNKY ANTIQUE TWIST DOGCLIPS

A pair of near identical 19th century 18ct gold twist dog clips.

The super chunky dog clips have a twist mechanism, locking shut with a screw collar that twists up to open the clip and down to close it. Once fastened they are completely secure.

The bail is a half swivel, so it can be turned 90 degrees, so they always sit the way you desire.

It’s rare to find pairs of this style, perfect for adding to a chain, using as an extender or to add charms to a chain. 

Hallmarked 'ET' on the clip

One clip has a slightly longer neck than the other.
