The sweetest Georgian key pendant circa 1820

The key is made of 14ct gold, and has the word ‘AMITIE’ engraved across the head.

The shaft of the key has an oval locket with the original hair inside.

Amitie is the French word for friendship, so this delightful key was likely given as a sentimental gift to a friend or in memory of a friend.
