MINI 9CT GOLD ACORN PENDANT

A super cute mini Acorn pendant made of 9ct gold.

This cutie has a plump acorn which hangs below a faceted paste stone and two beautifully chased leaves.

The acorn has a crosshatch texture to replicate the cup shell, and the nut is made of smooth gold.

The acorn is hallmarked for 9ct gold, with a partially legible hallmark for London and makers mark ‘FM’

In miniature form, the acorn looks gorgeous on a simple chain, or mixed in with other pendants and charms.

Nuts were used often in jewellery from the 19th century onwards due to their symbolism.

The acorn symbolised; Fertility, growth and strength.
