ANTIQUE SILVER CHUNKY BELCHER CHAIN

A lovely chunky antique silver belcher chain.

The chain has flat belcher links that are oval, compared to a traditional round belcher.

The chain is a heavier gauge than I’ve found in this style before, which gives the chain a bit of structure, ensuring it sits really nicely around the neck.

The chain fastens with a large dogclip and ring, that can be worn at the side as a feature, hidden at the back, or used to add pendants.

Makers mark ‘H.B’ and date letter for 1897 on the dogclip.
