Georgian Period
Three early 19th century Italian Punchinello pendants carved from coral, with a 9ct gold solid bolt ring bail.
All the pendants have different expressions and features making them completely unique!
The three pendants hang from a large 9ct gold bolt ring, which makes it easy to add to a necklace, and to switch the pendants out to create different looks.
A punchinello was a type of clown from Italian burlesque or puppet shows, and was the prototype of Punch (& Judy).
This type of characters earliest document use was 1662.
