A superb early 19th century Swiss enamel and 18ct gold chain.
The super long chain features rectangular hollow repoussé links with elaborate gold scrolled finials.
The enamel is double sided; black with white and gold accents.
The chain closes with a stunning original matching enamelled twist dog clip clasp, which is super secure when fastened.
The chain measures just over 43”, so can be worn once or twice around the neck for different looks.
The enamel is in good condition, with some wear in places, but the chain still looks exquisite when worn.
This is an absolute beauty circa 1820/30
