A stunning early 19th century carved coral padlock.
This is an Italian piece circa 1820/30.
The coral has been beautifully carved into two cherubs with folded wings, they appear to rise from a heart and raise a boulder together.
The padlock is large, and looks excellent on a chunky chain!
The detail is fabulous, and so unique.
The piece is in great condition, hinge is in good working order
Partial hallmarks on the gold bar.
Size approx: 4cm x 2.7cm
Weight approx: 8.2g
