EARLY 19TH CENTURY FIRST EMPIRE FRENCH 18CT CHAIN

A French First Empire 18ct gold chain.

Circa 1810 this wonderful chain is crafted with a fine foxtail link, which has beautiful movement, and closes with a petite dog clip and ring, both of which are hallmarked with the French eagles head.

The colour is so rich, and is only achieved with a lifetimes patina.

The chain is in very good condition.

Length approx: 156cm / 61.4”

Weight approx: 10g

As the chain is super long, it can be worn either two, three or four times around the neck for different looks.
