A charming early 19th century Rosary ring made of 18ct gold.
Circa 1820/30; The ring has an oval panel featuring a black and white enamel cross.
The band has ten small studs, each representing a decade, similar to rosary beads.
The studs were used as a physical method to count Hail Marys in prayer, creating the meditative rhythm of the Rosary.
The band is hallmarked clearly with the French eagles head for 18ct gold.
These are rare to find, especially with the enamel cross panel.
Perfect alone, but also makes a gorgeous stacker ring.
