A striking pair of early Victorian green paste drop earrings.
Circa 1830/40; the earrings have large green cushion cut paste drops set in a gilt metal reeded claw setting.
The rich colour of the gilt compliments the colour of the paste perfectly.
The settings are open back, allowing plenty of light into the stones.
The earrings light up a fantastic vivid emerald green when the light hits the facets.
The earrings have been set with 9ct gold shepherds hook wires.
