A lovely chunky antique silver horse hoof locket.
The locket is crafted in the shape of a shoed horse hoof.
The design details the horses frog and heel bulb as well as the horseshoe.
The sole area is stippled to create a textured surface, which looks great contrasting with the bright shiny silver horseshoe.
The shoe has the traditional 3 nails on one side 4 on the other, which is a symbol of Good Luck.
This piece is really unique as it has the horses hoof on both the front and the back and has a clear hallmark for Birmingham 1904 which is the beginning of the Edwardian period.
The pendant opens to reveal two glass lockets, which have cream silk grosgrain linings.
Perfect as it is, but also ready to add your own personal photos
