GEORGIAN CORAL FIGA HAND PENDANT

This is a super cool Georgian early 19th century carved Coral figa hand pendant.

The hand which is beautifully carved, is clasping five coral amulets, including two fish and a tiny brush.

The hand is adorned with a turquoise bracelet.

These were carved in Italy as good luck charms in the 19th century and the amulets were said to ward off the evil eye.
Carved in the form of a fist with a gold cuff and a gorgeous faceted jump ring.
