A lovely rose gold fine bangle with two silver Rooster finials, and a large Rooster pendant charm.
The bangle has the French Boars head mark for silver (the roosters) and a makers mark.
Circa 1870, this is a totally unique bangle!
The bangle is extendable so will fit a small to medium sized wrist.
Inner circumference approx: 17.5cm - 19.5cm
The Gallic Rooster was widely used as a religious symbol, and as the sign of hope and faith.
During the Renaissance that the rooster began to be associated with the emerging French nation.
I absolutely love the randomness of this antique bangle! Perfect to stack with multiple bangles, or let the Roosters shine on their own x
