This is a lovely early 19th century French paste and 18ct gold ring with the original shank.
The paste stones are set in a traditional silver setting.
The shank is hallmarked with a left facing ram's head, this French hallmark was used from August 1819 to May 1838 in Paris, France, and confirms a minimum gold content of 18ct.
It also has the makers mark on the band.
