FRENCH SILVER LARGE DOGCLIP

This is a supersized French silver dogclip from the mid to late 19th century.

The clip is made is solid silver, with a French boars head hallmark on the prong.

The base is shaped like a silver beehive, which is such a modern design even though it’s over 100 years old !

The clip is supersized, measuring approximately: 4.3cm x 1.5cm

Weight approx: 5g

The dog clip is solid, and closes/opens smoothly!

These rarely come up on such a huge size!!!

Can be used as a chain extender, a connector or a charm holder!
