Georgian period
A stunning Georgian hand pendant crafted in textured 15ct gold.
The piece depicts a finely modelled hand holding a large faceted Quartz doublet.
Circa 1820/30, the hand has a wonderful stippled texture on the front and palm.
The hand hangs from a gorgeous ruffled cuff and a high carat reeded jump ring.
Looks wonderful worn on a simple chain.
A doublet is a stone composed of two pieces of material, usually cemented together at the girdle (the stone's widest part): Usually the base is a less expensive stone.
This stone has a green glass base and a quartz top
