A gorgeous pair of Georgian double paste drop earrings.

Circa 1800/20; The high domed faceted paste stones catch the light fantastically.

The stones are set in a traditional silver cut down foiled setting and backed with gold.

The setting is uncomplicated, letting the cut and sparkle of the stones take centre stage.

It’s rare to find examples of Georgian double  drop earrings.

I love that the stones have been set on an angle, giving these traditional earrings a modern twist.

The shepherds hook wires are 9ct gold.
