GEORGIAN HIGH CARAT GOLD HEART LOCKET

A gorgeous early 19th century Georgian puffy heart locket pendant.

Made of 15ct gold, the chunky heart has a studded surface with a raised twisted rope detail coiling around the studs.

The heart is double sided, so looks great from all angles.

The heart opens to reveal the original glass panel which had a beautiful curve to the surface.

The glass panel is hinged so can be fully opened to the centre of the heart (like a book page).

Which is a beautiful decorative (rather than functional) feature.

The heart itself closes securely with a satisfying click, so could be used to store a keepsake.

The heart is a great size, and looks gorgeous when worn alone or with a bunch of other pendants.
