A Georgian paste Saint Esprit Dove pendant.
The Dove is covered in lovely quality old cut paste stones that sparkly fantastically.
The beak is set with a red paste, which was often used in the Georgian designs of these pendants.
The dove also has super cute boggle eyes made in a rose gold.
The entire piece is in a closed back silver setting, and hangs from a 9ct gold bail and jump ring.
Representing the Holy Spirit, this popular peace symbol in the form of a dove was known as a Saint Esprit.
It was popular in the late 18th Century/ early 19th Century originating in France.
