A chunky Georgian pinchbeck belcher chain.

Circa 1820; All the links are hand made, each varying very slightly in size and shape.

The links have a raised circular pattern giving the chain a gorgeous texture.

At just over 40” long, it can be worn either once or twice around the neck, for different looks.

The chain closes with a pinchbeck clasp with a raised pattern, which blends perfectly with the chain links.

The links are a large scale, so the chain makes a fantastic impact when worn!

Pinchbeck is a brass alloy. That looks very similar to gold, and doesn’t tarnish like other metal alloys.

It was invented in the early 18th century by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London clock- and watch-maker.

It is collectible in its own right!
