GEORGIAN THREE COLOUR GOLD LOCKET PENDANT

A stunning three colour gold and Turquoise locket pendant circa 1820.

The pendant is in the shape of a purse, that hangs from a high carat gold box chain.

The three colour gold on the front panel is in the design of a rose sprig which represent admiration and respect, and above is a swag of four graduated cabochon Turquoise.

The original glass panel opens at the reverse and clicks closed securely.

Originally, inside it would have a hinged grate of a vinaigrette, but at some point this has been removed which leaves a space to add a keep sake or just leave as it is.

The detail in the gold work is second to none!
