A seriously heavy antique chunky double silver curb Albert chain.
At 151g the chain is a heavyweight, and one of the chunkiest I have found so far!
The curb is a great size, with a symmetrical graduation on either side, measuring approximately 12mm at the widest point.
The centre has a fixed tbar, with extender chain, and the chain closes with two large silver dog clips.
The dogclips are a historical replacement as they do not match the hallmark on the tbar which is for Birmingham 1896. However they are in good working order and fit well with the chain.
The chain is a longer than average length that I find with this link at approx 23.7”, which is a great length to wear alone as it’s chunky enough to make its own statement, but also looks great layered with other chains for a different look.
The lion passant is present on nearly every link which guarantees that the silver is at least 92.5% pure, which is the sterling standard.
Looks epic when worn.
