A supersized Georgian pinchbeck belcher chain, circa 1820.

This is by far the largest one I have found; it’s an absolute whopper.

The chain has beautifully smooth large and shiny belcher links, and a stunning clasp set with turquoise.

The clasp is in excellent working order, closing with a satisfying click.

At over 37” long, it can be worn either once or twice around the neck, with the clasp at the side or the back, for different looks.

The scale of this chain is epic, it makes a serious impact when worn!

Pinchbeck is a brass alloy. That looks very similar to gold, and doesn’t tarnish like other metal alloys.

It was invented in the early 18th century by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London clock- and watch-maker.

It is collectible in its own right!
