 This is an amazing mid Victorian pinchbeck long-guard chain with beautiful chased detail on every link.

It is finished with a clasped hand and dogclip, with a slider plate, making it super versatile!

Can be worn many different ways!

Pinchbeck is a brass alloy. That looks very similar to gold, and doesn’t tarnish like other metal alloys.

It was invented in the early 18th century by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London clock- and watch-maker.
