GEORGIAN REGENCY HIGH CARAT SEAL WITH AMETHYST LION INTAGLIO

A Georgian regency two colour high carat gold fob set with amethyst and turquoise gemstones

The detailed gold work is beautiful, with a leaf and foliage design at the base and a mesh pattern encasing the intaglio.

The fob is set with an amethyst intaglio detailing a gorgeous roaring lions head.

The combination of colours are wonderful.

The fob is in good overall condition, with one small burr of canatille work missing from one side, see pics. However overall the work is so beautiful i don’t think it affects the piece.
