LARGE VICTORIAN DOUBLE ENDED SCENT BOTTLE WITH ORIGINAL CASE

This is an absolutely stunning Victorian double sided chunky crystal scent perfume bottle.

The scent bottle comes with the original leather presentation box with a bright purple velvet and silk lining, and the initials ‘MG’ on the outside.

The perfume bottle was commissioned and sold by the London store; P&F Schafer. Which was on Golden square, London.

The bottle is clearly hallmarked for 1866, accompanied with the makers mark ‘AB’.

The gorgeous silver gilt stylised bullet ends have Essex Crystal terminals again with the initials ‘MG’ in a bright blue paint!

Inside the stoppers are sprung and are in perfect working order.

The stopper has the engraving for P&F Shafer, along with the Royal crown.

The double ended bottle is a larger scale than you usually find, so must have been commissioned for a particular client!

This is a little piece of opulent history, and is in fantastic condition!
