VICTORIAN 22CT BUCKLE RING

This is a gorgeous 22ct yellow gold Victorian buckle ring, with a wonderfully simple design.

The ring has full hallmarks for Birmingham

1872 and includes the queens head mark.

Makers mark ‘W.S’ is also present.

Buckle rings were extremely popular during the Victorian era. With the Queen herself wearing one!

The buckle ring represented the joining of two people, which made this style of ring a popular love token of its time.
