A pretty Victorian scarab pendant made from an oval Amethyst.

The Amethyst has been carved into the shape of an Egyptian scarab, and is set in a 15ct mount with a rope border detail.

The Amethyst is a fantastic light purple colour which turns to a bright lilac when it catches the light.

All the natural inclusions can be seen within the stone.

These beetle-shaped amulets were inspired by ancient Egyptian artefacts.

They became popular during the Victorian era and were often associated with good luck, protection, and rebirth.
