VICTORIAN CHUNKY SILVER BEAD CHAIN

A stunning Victorian graduated silver bead necklace, circa 1890.

The silver beads are graduated, so they are super chunky at the front and taper to smaller at the back.

The beads are attached with metal silver links which keep them perfectly spaced.

The chain closes with a simple silver bolt ring

This is the first bead chain I’ve found with such extreme graduation.

Really easy to wear and style for a contemporary look, even though they are over 100 years old.

CONDITION

Very good; some areas of tarnish, and some variation in sheen level over the beads. The bolt ring is in good working order, the opening gap is small so it is a little stiff to fasten - see photos for more details.
