GEORGIAN 15CT GOLD EAGLE FOB ‘WITHOUT FEAR’

A superbly modelled Eagle fob with a beautifully scalloped Chalcedony intaglio.

The Eagle has his wings spread and is about to take flight.

Each feather of his body has been finely detailed.

The eagle sits on a heavily chased scalloped mound, beneath which is a Chalcedony intaglio with a gorgeous scalloped edge.

The intaglio depicts a cat sejant, with his paw raised.

Surrounded by a belt garter and the words

‘SANS PEUR’ which translates as ‘WITHOUT FEAR’

The intaglio is in great condition and it’s so rare to find cat intaglios!!

The fob hangs from a super chunky jump ring, making it easy to ahh to most thicknesses of chains.
