Family of pigs 18ct gold charm pendant.

One of the things I love about antique jewellery is the weird and quirky pieces that you come across!

This is a late Victorian 18ct gold pendant, with a mummy pig and four piglets!

The pigs are suspended from fine 18ct gold belcher chains.

The large pig has beautiful chasing detail and is really realistic!

Pigs were a symbol of good luck and fortune during the Victorian times! Often the fatter the pig the bigger the fortune!

Marked 750 for 18ct on the bail.
