VICTORIAN GARNET & DIAMOND RING

This is a stunning Victorian ring with a large oval flat cut garnet stone with two substantial rose cut diamonds either side. 

Set in a high carat gold closed back setting.
Size approx O 1/2 / 7 1/2
The main stone is approx 1.3cm x 0.9cm,

The garnet stone has a faceted edge, which catches the light beautifully.

There is a nibble in the stone next to the setting, and the flat face has some minor scratches, but it is completely original and beautiful.

Circa 1840/50, this ring is a transition from Georgian styling into Victorian!
