A super cool Victorian orb pendant with a hidden key!

Made of 14ct gold, the orb opens to reveal a bramah key!

The key hinges out of the orb, which can then be closed, so the pendant can be worn with the key visible. Or you can fold the key out of site to wear the piece as a classic orb.

I am obsessed with key jewellery, so I was so happy to find this beauty!

There are a few dents on both sides of the orb, but still such a cool piece of jewellery.

This key was likely used to lock the wearers jewellery box. So it would be worn around the owners neck disguised as a piece of jewellery, so only the wearer could gain access to their jewels!

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
