VICTORIAN HORN BELCHER CHAIN

A beautiful Victorian Horn belcher chain, circa 1880.

The moulded horn links are super chunky and in fantastic condition.

The chain fastens with a large gold bolt ring, which is also perfect for adding pendants to the chain for different looks.

The natural texture and warm dark tones of Horn made it a popular choice during the Victorian period.

It was used for chains, brooches and pendants, along with Jet, Bog Oak and Vulcanite.

I love the nearly black smooth finish of the horn links. It looks super modern, yet is over 100 years old.
