A supersized Victorian 15ct gold shield locket pendant.

The chunky shield is a much larger scale that you usually find.

It is double sided, with a gorgeous Bloodstone on one side, with a deep green colour speckled in the typical rusty red dots.

On the other is a smooth banded carnelian agate, which is milky white on the surface with an orange undertone

The stones are set in a chunky 15ct gold setting and hangs from a lovely sized original bail.

The locket opens to 180 degrees to reveal two glass panels currently filled with black silk behind the glass, but would be perfect to add 2 of your favourite photos.

Looks great on a simple chain, or a chunky Albert with a bunch of charms.

The hinge is engraved with the word ‘patent’

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
