VICTORIAN UNUSUAL 9CT GOLD BOLT & DOG CLIP

An unusual Victorian 9ct gold bolt and dogclip clasp / extender.

Circa 1890; This design is rare as the dog clip neck has a bolt ring finial where the jump ring usually would be positioned.

This makes it super useful as a chain extender or a bail to add charms easily to a chain.

The neck is a swivel so charms always sit the correct way round.

The gold has a slight rose patina, and has a partial 9C hall mark on the bolt.
