A supercool Whitby Jet bangle with acorn finials!

Made in England, circa 1870, the bangle is made of faceted and polished Jet beads, with decorative finials carved into acorns!

The plump acorns have circular carvings at the top to represent the cup and smooth jet for the nut.

The bracelet is on sprung elastic, so will fit a small to medium size wrist.

This style of bracelet is usually seen in the form of a snake! I’ve never seen one with acorns!

The acorn was a popular symbol during the Victorian era.

They symbolised; Fertility, growth and strength.

‘From the tiny acorn, a mighty oak tree can grow.’

This is a super cool addition to any wrist!!
