VICTORIAN WHITBY JET LOCKET

A gorgeous large oval Victorian Whitby Jet locket.

Circa 1860, the design is super clean and still so modern. 

And wonderful to have the original chunky bail. 

The locket opens to reveal two glass lockets - one filled with memorial plaited hair and the other woven purple silk!

The hinge is in great working order and the locket closes securely, and opens easily. 

The locket is a fabulous size: 7.5cm (incl bail) x 4cm

Weight approx: 34g

Makes a great statement on a chunky gold chain.
